Frequently Asked Questions
Why Flash Particle Studio?
Flash Particle Studio allows you to create a stunning particle
effect easily by simply selecting the effect and adjusting the
parameters. You can then publish the result as an SWF/FLV file,
AVI video or series of images with/without transparency.
What
features are not available in the trial version?
The trial version will not allow you to save a project file and
the software will expire within 15 days.
Does
Flash Particle Studio save my bitmap file into the project file?
No it does not. Only the reference to the bitmap file will be
saved. The reason is so that you can modify the bitmap file easily
and all projects using that bitmap will automatically use the
modification.
Why
can't I save a project file?
You cannot save a project file during a trial period. You can
remove this limitation by registering the software here.
Why
are the zoom buttons disabled?
A: The zoom buttons are disabled when the preview is currently
playing the animation. Stop/Pause the playback to enable those
buttons.
Why
are some changes to the particle effect settings not instantly
visible when the animation is paused?
Some of these settings apply to the newly created particles. When
the animation is paused, there are no new particles yet created.
Thus what are currently visible are the old particles which use
the old settings. Play the preview to see the changes.
Does
Flash Particle Studio create a looping animation?
Yes it does. Select Effect mode "Looping" in the Select Effect tab
to enable the looping animation.
